Product Description

The WW2 Special Constable Medal was awarded to part-time volunteer police officers in the UK who served during the war. It features an effigy of the reigning monarch, typically King George VI, on the obverse, with the words "FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE" inscribed on the reverse, highlighting their dedication to maintaining order during wartime.

The War Medal 1939-1945 was awarded to full-time personnel of the armed forces and merchant navy for at least 28 days of service during the war. The obverse shows King George VI, and the reverse features a lion standing triumphantly over a dragon, symbolizing victory over the Axis powers.

The Defence Medal was awarded for non-operational service, including the Home Guard and civil defense organizations, from 1939 to 1945. The obverse has King George VI's profile, and the reverse depicts a crowned oak tree flanked by two lions. The green, black, and orange ribbon symbolizes the British landscape, the blackout, and enemy attacks
