Product Description

  1. An original Danish 6.5×55mm Mauser inert cartridge featuring the HA 43 headstamp, identifying wartime production by Hærens Ammunitionsarsenal, Copenhagen, during the Second World War.

The 6.5×55mm cartridge became one of Scandinavia’s most respected military calibres, widely used in Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian Mauser-pattern service rifles. Renowned for its excellent accuracy, reliability, and smooth recoil characteristics, the calibre remained in military service for decades.

This example is dated 1943, placing it firmly within the wartime era. Ammunition produced by Hærens Ammunitionsarsenal (HA) is increasingly sought after by collectors due to its direct connection to Scandinavian military history and comparatively lower availability than more common German or British wartime cartridges.

The round retains authentic military appearance with clear headstamp markings and attractive age-related patina, making it an excellent collectible for enthusiasts of WW2 militaria, Scandinavian military history, or Mauser rifle ammunition.

A great addition to any inert ammunition collection, historical display, or dated cartridge grouping.

This cartridge has been rendered completely inert and is safe for display purposes only.
