Product Description

The Croix de Guerre with Diamonds is a French military decoration that was first established during World War I to recognize acts of valor by French and allied soldiers. The miniature Croix de Guerre with Diamonds is a smaller version of the medal that is often worn as a pin or on a ribbon bar.

The Croix de Guerre with Diamonds was awarded to soldiers who had already received the Croix de Guerre and had subsequently demonstrated further acts of heroism in combat. The addition of diamonds to the medal was intended to signify the exceptional nature of the soldier's actions.

During World War I, the Croix de Guerre with Diamonds was awarded to a relatively small number of soldiers who had performed exceptional acts of bravery and valor. Recipients of the medal included soldiers from France, Belgium, and the United States.

Today, the miniature Croix de Guerre with Diamonds is a highly sought-after piece of military memorabilia, especially among collectors of World War I artifacts. Its small size makes it easy to display, and the diamonds add a touch of elegance and luxury to an otherwise humble military decoration.
