Product Description
These original WWII 6.5×52mm Carcano rounds were produced in 1936 by the Austrian firm Hirtenberger, which supplied large quantities of ammunition to the Italian government after 1934. Easily identifiable, Hirtenberger cartridges feature a flat case head with no annular groove around the primer and a single star (*) headstamp denoting the manufacturer. Their projectiles also show the distinctive segment-style crimp, differing from the triangular crimp used on Italian-made rounds of the same era.
Now fully inert and safe for display, these cartridges are excellent additions to any Carcano, WWII, or European ammunition collection.
