Original inert Danish 8x58R Krag cartridge with “HL” headstamp marking for Hærens Laboratorium (Danish Army Laboratory), Copenhagen. This rimmed military cartridge dates from the interwar period and was produced for use in Danish Krag–Jørgensen rifles and military service weapons.
The 8x58R Danish Krag cartridge was Denmark’s standard military rifle round from the late 19th century into the early 20th century. HL-marked examples are collectible Scandinavian military cartridges and are sought after by Krag and Danish militaria collectors.
This example features a brass rimmed case with pointed projectile and original military-style appearance.
