Product Description

In working order

R1132 A receiver is intended as a ground radio, specially designed for the VHF band of 100-124 MHz, and can be used for R/T (AM) and D/F (Direction Finding) communications.

It is a super-heterodyne and essentially consists of an HF amplifier followed by a mixer stage with a separate oscillator, three IF amplifiers, a double diode for detection and AGC amplifier, and two LF stages.
There is also a BFO, which can be switched on separately. The sensitivity is such that at an antenna input of 20 μV, 100 % modulated, the output tube is fully driven. The signal-to-noise ratio is at 10 μV, modulated by 30% at 1000 Hz. better than 12 dB. When using the BFO, it is even possible to perform Direction-Finding with an input signal of 1 μV.

The HF amplifier is intended to increase selectivity rather than increase gain. The oscillator operates 12 MHz below the receive frequency, i.e. from 88-112 MHz. for the reception range from 100 to 124 MHz. The MF frequency of 12 MHz. is chosen so high to weaken the reception of mirror frequencies. There are a total of 8 tuned circuits for the MF gain.

BEFORE USE WE ADVISE THAT YOU HAVE THE RADIO AND POWER SUPPLY CHECKED BY A COMPETENT ELECTRICIAN
